The large decline in Natural Gas prices has positioned North American Ammonia producers to displace much of the imported Nitrogen based fertilizers. This strong market position has increased in the investment in existing production facilities such that the suction air compressor limits are a high cost, long lead investment. Our hybrid indirect evaporative cooling solutions can de-bottleneck existing suction air compressors by providing almost ten percent monthly mass flow increases during summer months. This mass flow increase directly correlates to production increases, with our customers achieving payback of 3-12 months.
